BLENT Crowd Mixology brings internationals and locals alike together to make new connections; a passion that escalated into a small business. The person behind BLENT is me, Lydia Molensky.
I was born and raised in The Netherlands, strong-willed to live an independent life. After finishing my business studies and rounding up my side-jobs I chose to move to South-East Asia to gain different perspectives in life. Rebuilding life from zero, alone, in an international environment became an empowering accomplishment. I did it again 5 years later in Germany.
Job titles, big famous company names and meeting “society’s expectations” no longer define my vision of success. There’s no point in telling people how valuable you are if you can’t show it. So now I use my passion and experience to encourage others to feel empowered about making new connections.
Well-being, an optimistic mindset and having the freedom to take ownership in life is what I value most. For this, connections have been and still are crucial to me. It doesn’t matter if these connections are old, new, long or short, there’s something to learn from anyone you meet.
